Coconut Flower Nectar and Lavender Almonds

This recipe sounds sophisticated, and therefore sounds challenging to make, but it’s easy and requires 4 ingredients! You can purchase the Coconut Flower Nectar and the Lavender Syrup online in Hatchery’s Marketplace. Looking for other ingredients that will amplify flavor and add uniqueness to your cooking? Read to the bottom of the post for a special gift from me to you :)

What (your ingredients):

1 ½ cups almonds
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 tablespoon Lavender simple syrup
1 tablespoon Coconut Flower Nectar

How (your directions):

Preheat oven to 400˚F.

On a baking sheet, toss almonds in olive oil.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, tossing halfway through.

Immediately out of the oven, toss roasted almonds with Lavender syrup and Coconut Flower Nectar.

Let cool completely.

Not only are these a special snack, but they would make a unique gift!

Enjoy!

Why (the science):  According to the company, Sweet Revenge, the Coconut Flower Nectar is a low-glycemic sugar replacement and can be used in traditional baking recipes without a compromise for flavor or texture-meaning no blood sugar spikes and crashes! Sugar without the crash? I’ll take it :)
